Social Tuning "aha"

I remember being in Robin’s class and doing a presentation on power and at first people were not really paying attention, but as I told my story the room went quiet. I had been to court with my ex-husband for 176 applications in Port Coquitlam Provincial Court and finally took him to Vancouver Supreme Court and won. When I looked around and saw the look of shock, disgust, and surprise on my class mates faces I realized they were on my side. This social tuning moment of the unequal power, a David and Goliath story made me realize I was not wrong in fighting this battle. That what I had done was something great, something important, something unique. I went home with a different feeling of who I was and with an increase in self-esteem that was much needed.

"attunement"

When reflecting on an "aha moment" that relates to attunement with another I think of my relationship with my oldest son Joseph. We recently went on a trip across Canada in my car. It was an experience I will never forget for I knew it would be a time of bonding, but I had no idea how much it would mean to me. I could not comprehend what it entailed and even if my car would be able to do the distance or if our relationship would be able to stand the tension.
What I discovered was that when I felt scared and did not wish to continue he talked me into enduring the trip and when he felt scared and did not wish to go on I encouraged him. Through sleet, rain, fatigue, frustration, anxiety, and snow storms we continued through this unknown land, where turning back was not an option.
When we finally arrived in Halifax Nova Scotia the joy and satisfaction we felt was unbelievable. We put our hands up high and high-fived, hugged each other, the connection was so powerful, we were in-sync, and in harmony. We did it! This task that seemed at first to be so difficult, so unrealistic, so crazy, we had accomplished what we first set out to do.
I looked lovingly at my son.

Famous Australian poet Henry Lawson

I recently visited Waverley Cemetery in New South Wales, Sydney, Australia.  I was encouraged to look further into its history. I found a famous poet named Henry Lawson the son of feminist Louisa Lawson, is buried there. He wrote "Past caring" that  tells the story of a women who gives the impression she is past caring but in the end it shows she is not. She has had a difficult and depressing life, yet, she still cares a lot and she wishes she did not.
Henry Lawson died in 1922 and he saw and understood what most people do not.

Poem of states

Never retire, angst, against. Beat upon my chest
Transpose evaluations, I dive into my polarities of yin
in test and yang of chance
Blessed with that at least. Meet and greet, left are these
days in mind I delete. Smart to swap or trade my inner
ways. So I can leave a inner part of me I can't rearrange
dowded in this world, so cold. I beat my fists.
Repeat a new archetype of my ancestry
Reach hands high, grasp in essence my tribal lever
